Workshops for parents and carers

We offer a range of workshops which cover topics to help support your child through their educational journey.

School can be a big ask for children and young people who have experienced relational traumas and losses, and it is not always easy to know how best to help them. Come along to develop your knowledge and understanding, meet other parents who are adopters and carers, share ideas and insights and gain new tools and strategies.

There are several workshops carefully selected for different points of the school calender so you can be especially prepared. The feedback from these workshops has been excellent. Parents and carers meet separately so do ensure you book yourself on the right workshop! The Brighton & Hove Virtual School has funded TouchBase and is working in partnership with the Family and Friends Team to run the following free* Workshops – written by Louise Michelle Bombèr. These are facilitated by Michael Reeves, an Integrative Child Psychotherapist, Educational Psychotherapist and Strategic Attachment Lead Teacher on the TouchBase team.

Workshops get booked up quickly so do contact info@touchbase.org.uk and get booked in sooner rather than later!

*Free to those living in Brighton & Hove
