Therapy

Adverse childhood experiences can impact both bodies and minds, affecting how we manage current stress and relate to others. Our aim with therapy is to support the individual child or young person with both their regulation and relationship needs. We can also work to support carers and parents to help them understand and support the child in this process.

We provide therapy for children and young people in all family circumstances – those living within the birth family, those who are adopted or in foster care, those living with family members other than their parents and those who are in the care of a local authority. We are happy to take on work funded privately, or through social services or the Adoption Support Fund.

We are now also able to offer adult therapy and EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing).
